The Efficacy of Hebrew Terms in Addressing Demonic Possession: Analyzing the Connotations of "Pursue" Terms Abstract

Abstract: This dissertation examines the Hebrew terms associated with "pursue" and their effectiveness in addressing demonic possession. By analyzing the root letters and meanings of four key terms—רָדַף (Radaph), בִּקֵּשׁ (Bikesh), דָּרַשׁ (Darash), and שָׁאַל (Sha’al)—we determine which term is most effective for spiritual and ritualistic interventions. The analysis explores the implications of each term's root letters, their symbolic meanings, and how these characteristics align with the needs for confronting and expelling demonic entities.
